The shoe is also infused with innovative skate technology, including CONS traction rubber for increased grip and durability, as well as a Lunarlon sockliner for added comfort. The back of the tongue features an intricate map of Hawthorne, a tribute to the California town where Louie grew up, while the city seal is displayed in gold foil on the sockliner. The clean colors of the upper were also carefully selected by Louie, reflecting the shades of summertime in his home city.
